My diploma thesis was the conceptual development of an extraordinary coffee shop concept for allergic persons.

The idea: people with food allergies can order individualised cakes, muffins etc and make special requests (Sonderwünsche). Thus, they can decide precisely what they are going to eat and drink.

The name kaffeenomenal combines three important aspects: coffee of course, fairies (german: Fee), also used as key visual to emphasize the strong wish-fullfilling aspect and the term phenomenon, as there was no similar gastronomical concept in Germany at that time.

The colourful and playful design including multitouch table interfaces was developed in order to appeal to women and children mainly as they suffer statistically the most under all forms of food allergies.
